Ex Gaza and Ex Alliance members Collaborate

While Vybz Kartel lingers behind bars, ex Gaza members are busy mending their bridges. Popcaan is said to have apologized to Bounty Killer earlier this year and sent the artiste a voice note for his birthday. Now Ex-Gaza member, dancehall star Jah Vinci, has teamed up with ex-Alliance member Bridgez to do a combination single called ‘Dream Love’ on the Diamond Music Empire label.

“We voiced the song three months ago. Jah Vinci is simply brilliant, he went into the studio, heard the rhythm and wrote the song on the spot. He wrote everything; he simply freestyled the song from start to finish, telling me what to sing and how to sing it. He is simply incredible,” Bridgez said, adding that the experience was a bit intimidating given that Jah Vinci is such a great singer.

“It was a bit of a challenge because his voice is so strong, but I was able to dig deep and do my best. He really inspired me to do some things, and brought things out of me that I didn’t know I could do,” she revealed.

Jah Vinci enjoyed being the creative force behind the combination single. “I really enjoyed working with Bridgez, she is a really good singer whom I expect great things from in the future. I have been getting a lot of positive responses to the song from fans on Facebook and Twitter. DJ Wayne played it the other day, and several Sunciti Radio disc jocks have been playing it, so it’s a good look,” Jah Vinci said.

As 2013 draws to a close, the former ‘Portmore Empire’ star is determined to capture a bigger chunk of the marketplace. He released two videos recently, My Love on the ‘Party Block’ rhythm on the Hapilos Entertainment Label, and Mama Don’t Cry, produced by brothers, Blade and Taz of Social Yaad on their ‘Sacred Heart’ rhythm.

Fans can expect a vast array of Jah Vinci’s music from various renowned producers including Chimney Records, Hapilos Ent., So Unique Records and CrO2 (ZJ Chrome). Also a catalogue of other music videos is set to be released soon.Jah Vinci also recorded with Vybz Kartel’s former rival.
