Beenie Man & Karlie Redd To Do Collaboration

International recording artiste Beenie Man is getting ready for a collaboration with hip hop artiste and actress Karlie Redd who is known for her role on the VH1 series “Love and Hip Hop:Atlanta.”

 

Beenie Man’s manager Rohan ‘Blue’ Smith said, “They are currently in production for season two of the popular ‘Love and Hip Hop Atlanta’ series and Karlie wanted to do a song with Beenie Man called Got The Draws, and this song may make it to the soundtrack of the show.”

Karlie Redd was born in New York but grew up in Trinidad. She is currently working with some of US music industry top producers in preparation for the release of her debut album.

Independent production company NFGTV Inc. will be in charge of the collab with Karlie and Beenie.  Meanwhile Beenie Man will be heading to New York for a show on Saturday after which he will head to Miami for the annual Best of the Best concert.

Eminem’s Publishers Sue Facebook For Copyright Infringement!

  The publishing company for rap superstar Eminem has filed a lawsuit against social media giants Facebook for the unlawful use of the rappers song for its Facebook Home application advertisement.   According to the suit, the CEO of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg showcased an ad by Portland, Oregon ad company Wieden + Kennedy with the caption “Airplane” when the new Facebook Home app debuted in April.  The advertisement was said to be “uncannily similar” to Eminem’s collaboration with this D12 group.   The lawsuit filed by Eight Mile Style LLC, claims that viewers of the advertisement noticed the similarities and in what is believed to...

Microsoft And Steven Spielberg Creating Live-Action TV Series!

Microsoft today announced that they have teamed up with legendary filmmaker Steven Spielberg to develop a live action TV series based on the world of “Halo.”   In a pre-taped interview prior to the announcement, Spielberg said, "The Halo universe is an amazing opportunity to be at that intersection where technology and myth-making meet to produce something truly groundbreaking."   The new Halo series which will be commissioned exclusively for Xbox Live is yet to have a release date.    ...

Mary J Blige Facing $3.4 Million Tax Lien!

Entertainment website TMZ is reporting that R& B Queen Mary J Blige owes the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) $3,426,255.43 in unpaid income taxes for the years 2009 to 2011.   IRS records indicate that a federal tax lien was filed in February in Bergen County Court against the “My Life” singer.  Mary J who is already facing financial problems has back taxes owing to the state of New Jersey in the amount of $901,769.65.  She also has a lawsuit against her charitable foundation, The Mary J.
